Residence – Mattituck, NY

This addition of a living space to the existing garage explores the notion of a single person unit. In practice, the design calls for full functional living spaces to be added without overpowering the existing garage in any visual or spatially oriented manner. The two story American Shingle styled addition enables the spaces of the kitchen and living quarters to provide 270 degree panoramic views of the surrounding property.
